The Incredible Race at RIT

Think Your Club Has A Chance to Win the Race?

 

The Amazing Race will take place on Saturday, April 13th.

Registration closes on Wednesday, April 10th.

The Incredible Race, by RIT's Simone Center, is a creativity and puzzle solving race around different parts of campus. Our goal is to promote innovative thinking and teamwork.

Clubs on campus can form teams of 10 and compete to win a cash prize for their club funds.  They will have to solve riddles and use teamwork to make it through all of the stops. 

Whatever team is back to the Simone Center first will receive 1st place, $300.  There are also 2nd and 3rd place prizes, $200 and $100. 

Teams must work together to make it around campus as fast as possible. Though, there may be a few road blocks and bonuses along the way, so keep a look out.  There will be a celebration at the end of the race with pizza, drinks, and t-shirts for all.

What is The Amazing Race at RIT?

Inspired by the American Reality Show The Amazing Race we have created a campus wide event that helps student fund their clubs and exercise teamwork between members. 

The purpose of this event is to have student train in their skills in creativity and innovation. Throughout the race you will have to solve riddles and create your own solution to given problems. This race will also give students a chance to explore the campus and find places they have never been before with resources they never know about.
