Mock Interview Day

Mock interviews are a great way to gain experience, practice interview skills, receive feedback, and improve performance.

Students can practice their virtual interviewing skills with some of RIT's employer partners. Through one-on-one guidance, students will participate in a 30-minute “mock” virtual interview followed by a 10-minute critique from the interviewer.

Sign-up

All sign-ups will be through Career Connect. Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to Career Connect
  2. Add a personal Zoom link to your resume
  3. Upload your most recent resume
  4. Click “JOBS” from the left-hand navigation
  5. Type “MOCK” into the search field and select which academic year applies to you
  6. Click Apply a single time slot (limit one per person)

If you need to cancel your scheduled mock interview:

  1. Click “Leave Slot” through Career Connect
  2. Call our office 24 hours in advance: 585-475-2301

Interpreting Services: Unless otherwise noted, students are responsible for requesting interpreting services. To submit requests, go to myaccess.rit.
